What made you decide you wanting to start 1:1 coaching?
I was at my heaviest weight ever and worried about my health and my ability to lose the weight as I moved into menopause. I had made many efforts to lose weight, but had never achieved total success, and had always regained the weight I lost. I realized that I needed help, and would not be able to meet my goals alone. I needed accountability, expertise, and encouragement. I saw a friend who had been participating in the Fit for Life program for a number of months, and I could see the success that she was having with her health and her weight.
What is one specific feature you like most about my 1:1 coaching program?
I especially like the frequent communication with Ashley. Almost daily, I ask questions, process information, observations, difficulties, etc. and receive feedback as well as encouragement when needed. This makes me feel that I'm not alone in this journey to better health. I have a lot of weight to lose, and it can seem like a long road. Ashley has been able to help me with various obstacles/ problems that have presented, such as unstable blood sugar, figuring out how to eat on plan during travel, anxiety, etc. as they have presented day to day.
What are some of the successes you've had since you started working with me?
Although I still have a long way to go to reach my weight and fitness goals, I have already experienced a number of successes in the program. I have steadily lost weight and inches, I have gained physical strength, and I am recognizing lifestyle habits, thought patterns, and personal expectations that need to be changed. I am beginning to experience a more steady state of physical and mental energy through the day, as well as moving into a more balanced hormonal state. My sleep is improving as well.
Would you recommend this program to someone else?
I absolutely would recommend this program to others. I wish that I had recognized earlier in my life that I would be more successful by asking for help and allowing another person into my struggles to improve my health.
